This privacy policy applies to the Midi Patch Changer & Looper app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices created by sb9apss (hereby referred to as "Service Provider"). This Application is provided as a Paid Service and is intended for use "AS IS".
Information Collection and Use
The Application adheres to a strict privacy-first approach. The Service Provider does not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information (such as your name, email address, or phone number) to their servers.
1. Functional Data (Local Only)
To function as a MIDI controller and Looper, the Application processes specific data locally on your device. This data is not shared with the Service Provider:
- MIDI Data: The app sends and receives MIDI signals (Musical Instrument Digital Interface) to control your external hardware. This processing happens entirely within your device and connected hardware.
- Audio & Storage: The app requires access to your device's storage and audio capabilities to load samples, save your patch configurations, and store bank data. This data resides solely on your device.
2. Payment Information
The Application is a Paid App distributed via the Google Play Store.
- No Direct Collection: The Service Provider does not collect, process, or store any of your payment information (credit card numbers, bank details, etc.).
- Google Play Billing: All financial transactions regarding the download and purchase of this Application are handled exclusively by Google Play. You are subject to Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy regarding these payments.
Third-Party Services
The Application may interact with third-party services for core system functionality (such as license verification):
- Google Play Services: Used for validating the application license and managing the download.
Data Retention
Since the Application does not require an account or sign-in, the Service Provider retains no user data.
- Local Data: All your custom patches, banks, and imported samples are stored locally on your device.
- Deletion: Uninstalling the Application will remove this local data from your device (subject to Android's storage management). You are responsible for backing up your own configurations.
Age Restriction (16+)
The Application is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 16.
The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children or anyone under 16. If you are under 16, you are not permitted to use this Application. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that a minor under 16 has provided us with personal information (though the app is designed not to collect it), please contact the Service Provider immediately so necessary actions can be taken.
Security
The Service Provider prioritizes the security of your local data by minimizing data collection. As no personal data is transmitted to the Service Provider's servers, the risk of remote data breach involving your personal information via this Application is virtually non-existent.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.
